Communications interference of any kind stunts intelligent growth, free communications, of all, Television, internet, broadband, telephone, wireless, etc.  true enlightenment of all without cost, will boost any country's intellectual power & quality overnight. Education through schooling is becoming a thing of the past. The need to communicate without policing & government interference is a basic humanitarian right. These tools should be as free as the air we breadth, about the only product left upon this earth that is free & untaxed. Freedom of travel worldwide has been destroyed by paper walls, greed, borders & red tape. The divisions on the continent of Africa is the greatest eye-opener to this, though it exists on all continents, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America. Land has unnecessarily been partitioned  in a gluttony to possess it's so called valuable assets, thus leaving the land & world in turmoil.
